Rape Bay is 5 nmi east towards Brela and Makarska. The bay is well protected from easterly and northerly winds. The bottom is sandy and holds the anchor well. It has some buoys for the mooring of smaller vessels and some piers for access to vessels. The depths are between 2 and 7 m. The bay used to be a cargo port for transporting stone from a nearby quarry. Today, the loading platform is partially collapsed. There is a beautiful sandy beach in the bay, and an inn is open during the summer. The nearest gas station is in Sumartin on the island of Brač, which is 12 nmi by boat or in Makarska, which is 13 nmi away.
